Are monster encounters scalable to your level? In other words, when a level 10+ party enters the lower monastery, will their monster encounters be more difficult than your level 1 party (beginning of game)?

Any help is appreciated.

Michael

Definitely. Within limits, that is.

Absolutely. If you run around the Monastery with a higher-level party (like when you go back to open the tomb), you'll run into things like Metallic and Adamantium slimes in addition to the Green, Languid, Noxious, etc. types you found on the initial visit (anyone ever seen a Black Slime in the Monastery?). But there seem to be limits, in that the basic type doesn't change. So you won't run into Juggernauts or Golems in the Monastery, no matter what your level.
