I found this nugget in the mine tunnels and am wondering what I am supposed to do with it.

It has made my entire parties load yellow and red. I'm thinking of selling it to get my base AC up.

Any time you find a distinctive, unique item, there's a *very* good chance that you'll find something worthwhile to do with it eventually. Stash it somewhere convenient; I usually use Antone's chest.

It sounds like you're carrying way too much stuff around; either that, or your entire party is Faeries. Assuming the former, stash stuff that you don't need immediately. Good candidates are gadget parts, high-level ammo that you want to save for later, and any of the custom-item "ingredients" you've collected but haven't yet delivered to the maker of the item.

Thanks but the reason my guys are red and yellow are because of the nugget. It weighs 250lbs. If i take it off, my guys turn green

The silver nugget can be used by Ferro in the Rapax Castle to make reflective armor. It sounds nice, but by that time, everyone who could wear it had betetr stuff (mainly bought from Ferro's regular inventory). You may want to get this done once just for the experience, in which case, stash the nugget somewhere for later.

Otherwise, just sell the thing.

What is your party number? if you only have a one or two player party, then I could see where the nugget overloads you. But if you are full up( 6 players + 2 NPC or even just your 6 players), then you are still carting around too much stuff, IMO. With every color up, you lose AC. I keep my party blue to white as much as possible, potaling back to sell off what I collect or keep in "storage" (Antone's chest for me). Not that it matters, you could dump your stuff in the middle of a road, and it will stay there forever. lol Even if you're doing Ironman, You shouldn't need much more stuff than what makes you "blue".
(did that make sense?? LOL)
I would say that anything you find that is not "normal", keep, you'll probably want or need it later. (except maybe that dead frog from Fuzfas lol )

Good luck

I am yellow and red but I only get about -2 AC from all this weight

Green is already a very bad state. You should try to kepp colorless all the time (blue isn't the best). Encumberance reduces your AC, reduces your initiative, and might lead to a lower number of attacks.

Do you know that you can store stuff in chests, and retrieve it later? I didn't know this in my firts game, and run around light blue most of the time. Its especially handy to stash away surplus good ammo and potions.

To the nugget, well, i don't think the item you need it for is great. If you don't need the money, drop it somewhere where you can get it back (you'll know when you need it). If you need money, sell it to He'Li. I usually sell the Diamond to her, and she keeps it all the game, so i can buy it back when i have too much money.

I haven't seen an "official" tabulation of the effects of increasing load; here are the results of some quick testing:

White -> Blue: -1 Initiative, -1 Attack Rating, -1 To Hit
Blue -> Green: -1 AC, -1 Initiative, -1 Attack Rating, -1 To Hit
Green -> Yellow: -1 AC, -2 Initiative, -2 Attack Rating, -2 To Hit
Yellow -> Red: -2 AC, -4 Initiative, -4 Attack Rating, -4 To Hit

So, at Yellow, you're operating at -2 AC, -4 Initiative, -4 Attack Rating, and -4 To Hit compared to White. Not good. At Red, all those penalties double.

Find somewhere to stash the stuff.

the silver nugget is an item needed to make reflecting armor from ferro in rapax castle.

Its widely thought that reflecting armour sucks. I would sell it. I definitely wouldnt carry it around. put it in a chest.

you can use the nugget and drop it at the moving plate at gigas tunnel. it will open a new place. after you visit that place you can take the nugget back.
