I was wondering what types of magic items drop in the mini dungeons? If you have gone thru them"graveyard" ect what should one expect? I am bored with DAOC and honestly find Wiz8 a wonderful rpg. If anyone has any insite to the mini dungeons please feel free to post

Well, well I only play the last of the three dungeons in Mountain Wilderness. There you'll find a lot of magic stuff and some nice fights against Golems and Rapax ghost.

What you get is : - amulet of nebdar (AC + 4.....a lot more) you have to
kill nebdar (looks like the sorceress queen), that fight
isnt easy.
- sword of fire (two handed, not bad, but excalibur is much

- sword of fire (two handed, not bad, but excalibur is much
better)
- flame staff (not bad, but not as good as Staff of doom)
- .... I dont remember more, but these are the best items; the amulet of nebdar belongs to the best amulets in the whole game like cameo locket or golden medaillon.

´Have fun

You can nab the Cutlass of the Damned in the first retro dungeon.

Make sure your lock pick skills and/or knock knock spell is up to snuff! I think the graveyard was easiest for monsters, then the northern one (tree runes) by Mt. Gigas, then the Mountaun Wilderness (stone runes) by the Rapax entrance. I usually get some good stuff from all, yet the graveyard one seems to be the most complicated maze. The monster level for all goes up as your level does, to some degree, so they all can be difficult. I can't name all the items but I usually get some good battle practice as a bonus. And you can get good potions to use or sell. I keep one save game at the beginning of each retro dungeon (outside) in case I change my mind and want to go on. I'm on my tenth complete game or so (a two-party with Dracon Lord and Faerie Rogue/Bishop eventually to become a Ninja), now I only do the Mountain maze like Niob for Nebdar amulet. Happy hunting!

I go there mainly for the resale value of all the junk you get. Most of the Good stuff seems to be cursed, but the nebbar necklace is definitely your friend.

my magic item that I got is different from you all, the one that i got is called a headache. trying to find a way out of those retro dungeon proves very very frustrating. ;)

Kakero:

This site may help. It's a gridmap of all the extra dungeons. It's also the requirements of entering the dungeons, if some don't know. Good layout on the dungeon grids imo.. very few mistakes, and they are all very minor (like a door missing that is obvious it should be there).

Wolfie's site has the same maps that were created by Moni, but the explanations and maps on how to get into the dungeons are better.

Does finishing the cemetary dungeon make the malevolent spirit in the mausoleum go away?
