Anyone able to get Dark Savant's Glove after he's defeated?

nope, you don't have the chance to retrieve it after you kill him. too bad...

If you attack and kill Bela while you fight DS, you'll get no ending. But you can pick up the glove and continue to play.

Hrm... really? Have ya tried it? Anything special about the glove?

The first time when i attacked Bela, it worked. I still have the save file.
Yesterday, i gave it another try. Once, i got the ending nonetheless. Twice, i got no ending, could walk around, but do nothing else (including not picking up anything).

Here the info about the glove:

Cobaltine Powerglove
Ranged weapon, needs modern weapon skill
usabel by Fighter, Lord, Valkyrie, Ranger, Rogue, Gadgeteer
damage 8-32, double damage against Robots
25% Paralyze, 5% Kill
18 Charges (but you can still shoot when they are gone)

Odd that the glove drops and normally you can't pick it up...

Were they leaving a door for Wizardry IX I wonder?
