Thanks for the info on my earlier posting regarding VI and the vaporizer.

But I still have a question/problem regarding VI. I never dismissed her from my party. She left on her own when the party went to Bayjin and to the Rapax Rift. I also understand that she will not enter the Wilderness Clearing once the Rapax move into the area. All that aside, does she appear at Ascension Peak during the end game phase and rejoin my party, or is she gone forever?

no, just go find her at He'li place. she'll be there.

ps, rumuors has it that there's this bug where npc will disappear forever. I though never hit this. so becareful.

Does this bug include the NPCs in game telling you rumors about Vi being killed after she disappears from He'li's?

In the game, which I've played longer than my current 3 char party, Vi disappeared from He'li's at one point and NPCs told me about she being killed. Didn't pay much attention to that, since I don't want to re-recruit her, and I haven't finnished that game yet, so can't tell if you'll find her again some time later.

I think someone mentioned that having some certain items in inventory all at once, triggers the disappearance of Vi, but won't comment on that :D

First time through, I dissmissed her, but she never showed up at Helli's or AP. Have no idea why.

There's a bug thats fixed in a patch.
If you released an RPC and left the area without talking to them, they might disappear forever. Just say goodbye to them before you go, and you'll probably be save. (I don't know if this only is for voluntary release, or for forced ones too).

In my first games, several RPCs disappeared. Since i have the patched version, it didn't happen again.
