Haven't run a Mook yet, didn't bother remembering after the first time i saw the Giant's Sword, if you've got one, it'll tell you what classes can use it (right-click on it). If you don't have it, or want to 'just test' it, you can save one level, if you get the points for another, just take one, you can keep one in reserve to change classes back, i don't know how important levels are to you, i find after 12 or so with a hybrid i can save one or two with just one char out of 4-6 and not lose very much, i have my parties practise a lot, so maybe you wouldn't want to do that if you don't, someone else prob'ly knows about the sword...
