I ran into a problem with the Mook hologram in Arnika. I have a mook ranger and when i talked to the hologram my ranger took off. I know eventually i will get him back, but is there a way to speed up this quest or process? He is very important to my group

Easy. Just go to the inn and sack out. Your Mook will return by the end of the rest period.

Well, Technically, you'll get any mook back as soon as you rest. It doesn't have to be at the inn... however, do not rest outside the mook building. If your game is not patched, resting outside the mook building before Screg disappears will trigger a bug to make him never reappear (except after you patch to 1.2.4)
