I am a lvl. 15 Paladin now and I am in Underdark. The max. damage Keldorn have dealt out is 13!!!!!! He uses Daystar.
Is that normal?

what equipment does he have?

He uses gloves of dexterity, helm of Balduran, pride of the legion (-1) and cloak of spell of reflection (I think)

Well, without factoring in extra damage from critical hits then that's about right, assuming he only has * in long sword, I strongly suggest that you equip him with a 2-handed sword, which he should be specialized in, and unless your main character is a paladin, give him Carsomyr, easily obtainable at your level, altho if you don't have it yet you'll have to wait till chapter 6.

what I did, since he's already specialized in 2-handed sword, is put his prof's into 2 handed fighting style (not to be confused with 2 weapon), it lowers the weapon speed, and increases his chances of critical hits
