Have read walkthrough but can't get the kings apartment key into the keyhole in the trophy room, plus cant find the tube to put the deposit slip into to get the queens apartment key. Please help. Plus there is a room on the roo by the zoo facing north wherein I am told that a specific item is required here...anyone figure out which item it is? REgards Joie

First, you want to get very close to that keyhole on the wall. Then, put the key on the cursor, and click the key on the hole. That should work.

The deposit tube is on your right as you face the safe on the wall. Put the deposit slip on the cursor, then click on the tube.

I think the room you're talking about is opened with the queen's key, which is what you'll get after dropping the deposit slip in the tube.

Thanks. Hard to believe that I was trying from too far away. got quite @@@@#%%&*&*% as well. Also, completely missed the tube. Found it now and can't see how I didn't see it before.

Also - got the zoo key. Does it open anything? The door on the north wall of the zoo area doesn't have a keyhole. Regards and thanks again. Joie

That "too far away" stuff is a problem in many areas of the game. I ran into that in several locations, including the trophy room. And I missed that tube myself, the first time.

I never bothered with the zoo key myself, but I believe you'll find a small hut/room/whatever in the zoo area that's locked, and the zoo key will open it.

Some doors don't have a visible keyhole, but clicking the right key on the door will open it. Wiz 8 won't get any awards for consistancy ;)

Thanks. Now, unfortunately, Windows XP has eaten Wiz 8 and the game won't load. I have now got all the way to the Rapax away camp. Sigh. I thought a new computer and the latest Windows would ......double sigh. Regards Joie
