In the combat mode, Enemies have numeber like (2,2,2).Please teach me,what does mean the number?
|
that's how many of each kind are in a group of them. so something like higardi highwayen (7) siges (2) means you're facing one group of 7 highwaymen and 2 siges. the numbers will decrease as you kill them off.
|
(x,y,z)
x= how many opponents y= how many in range z= how many in sight .. right click on (x,y,z) and the information comes up in the text-screen at the bottom of the page. Took me 2-3 times of playing the game start to finish before I figured this out ;) |

[wcip] has it right. You'll notice these numbers change as monsters go into and out of range. Right click their names at the top of the screen and you'll see your display at the bottom read it off to you as X enemies, X enemies in range, X enemies in sight.

The reason any of this is important is because of group effect spells such as insanity and freeze flesh. If you don't want to be like me : ) you should pay attention to the numbers so that you effect the biggest group with all those handy spells. Casting insanity on the two Higardi Cutpurses doesn't do a whole lot of good when there are two groups of 7 Bandits each waiting to kick your butt. : )
