I beat the livin' tar out of the crew in the temple. My group is level 18-19. I had magic screen, enchanted blade and armorplate up ahead of time. I stood in the doorway and let the first death lord (huge fella) stand in front of me, so the elementals and other death lord could not reach me. I used one of my Bishops to take out the 2 sets of cultists in a couple of rounds with Psionic Blast (don't have to have enemy in sight to cast - one of my favorite spells). I cast Banish with my other Bishop - it whooped on the elementals and death lords. Meanwhile, my fighter, samurai, rogue and Vi hacked away at the death lords and queen. I didn't have to heal anybody the entire fight, let alone resurrect anyone. It was easy pickins. Then again, it may just be first timer's luck. I now have 3 giant's swords! I gave one to my mook ranger to practice his sword skill. I guess I will sell the other two.
On another note, any preferences on giving Fang or Light Sword to your samurai?

if i only have 1 Sam, i give her Bloodlust until i get Ivory Blade.

I always give my samuria whatever sword has the best kill rate. i'm not sure what, if any, percent to kill the fang has although i know that the light sword doesn't have one (i think?).

For me, the deathlord's instant death backfired, thanks to eye for an eye. wiped out about half the crowd right there.

I prefer the lightsword for my sammy. He does enough instakill with his criticals so I'm not in a hurry. Also I prefer not to instakill all the time because I wanna rtain my skills :D

When I encounter a group of monster my 3 front line chars all critics all the time (Sammy, Ninja and Monk). So fights become boring and I cannot pull up skills :(

I have fang, bloodlust, Ivory bland and light sword so I can always change when needed.
