I cam to a door with what looks like a Rapax carved on it. What is this?

The door is the way in from the Rapax castle teleporter. There is no way to open the door from this side. You have to teleport from the castle and open it from the other side.

P.S. You ARE on Ascension Peak ;)

Is the Rapax castle the place with the three prisoners? I cleaned that out. Anyway, all I see
on Ascension peak is hte flying dude and some statues farther on.

Well, you're actually talking about more than one area here.

Bela is in the Mountain Wilderness, next to the entrance to Ascension Peak.

The door and the statues are on the Peak itself. If you do some exploring, you should find other doors that have locks you can pick.

The Rapax Castle is past the Rapax Rift. The rift can be reached by using the T'rang teleporter or fighting your way past the Rapax guards in the Mountain Wilderness east side. You have to go through the rift to reach the castle.
