done the rest of the stuff, the shaman, Fuzz, agreed to kill the ratkins. killed lotsa other dorks plus the zoo. When I take the two lengths of the gouda vine back to the
broken bridge and then merge them, the player holds the vine and clicks
on the posts, boards, et cetera. I get a screen message saying "I beter keep these for later on." Duh. Can I get into the Rat tree from
the ground level?

1) Be sure to have merge both gouda vines.
2) Save (<- that you know ;) )
3) Be close to the fallen bridge until you have the hand cursor.
4) Take the rope out of your inventory.
5) Click on the bridge. Try until you succeed, you must d something wrong.

And you can go to the rattkin tree from the ground but only if you activate the rope from the rattkin tree side!

That message usually means you are trying to drop a quest item. It's a failsafe feature to prevent losing important items and being unable to complete the game. It's possible you are clicking the merged vine too far away from the broken bridge, so that the game thinks you're dropping it instead. Try moving closer then clicking the vine on the bridge. Also, I'm assuming you've successfully merged the two short vines into one? I'm not sure, but I don't think you can get to the Ratkin tree from the ground until you've already been there first.

geez. I didnt think to merge the vines, thank you. was stuck. Will it let you kill someone you need lateR? I killed the guy in the swamp and most of the people in arnika ...
also how do you get into the room on the same bough, tried all of my items and couldnt do it...
