I killed Don Barlone, after he told me he had the Astral Dominae, and wanted 93,000 for it, I think it must be based on your current gold, because I had about 125,000 at the time. Anyway, I fought him instead, and killed him - tough battle when your level 11.

My question is, will this be a problem, should I have bought it instead, is there something I will miss out on, now that he is dead?

Also, I am getting attacked - a lot - by Savant dudes, especially in Arnika.

This is normal remember that Savant have the "tower" in Arnika and it telports many Savant dudes to Arnika! :D

Actually, most people decide to kill the Don... he's useless anyways... just get the Astral Dominae and be off! The only other reason people kill him is to get the Cane of Corpus... but that's only if you have a fairie ninja.

It's even better if you happen to have a Fairy Ninja in your party. The Cane Of Corpus that he drops is an excellent weapon.

Does the price of the Astral Dominae vary? - is it always 80% of your gold?

I had 125K, and he wanted $93K for it, if I only had 1000, would it have been selling for less???

No the Astral Dominae have allvais costed about 93000 gold i think! that i what i have to pay him every time i meet him (Trough 5 times) i played the game!

I think there's a set price for the Dominae, which is modified by your communication skill (highest in party). How much you're carrying doesn't matter.
