You know for all the trouble you go around collecting weird little things off of corpses(rattkin foreskins, hogar pubic hair, a pair of stone ball's from a granite golem, a set of tree sprite's giant titties, etc...). The game should reward you with better stuff.

So far the olny thing i have used for any extended period of time is the zynarix plate for my fairy Bishop. And he doesnt really need it, he never gets hit.
I Used the ebon staff with my bishop for like a minute but then i found the staff of doom. damn now my bishop criticals in melee.
I had real high hopes for the steel hide breastplate, It was only 1 point better that my best samurai armor and my ranger already had chain that was just as good. Then i got a set of that chain+1 armomr and my samurai now uses that.
I have all but his damn axe and those piccus dont drop no eggs for me.
Hopefully Ferro will have stuff that i can use for more than a few minutes.
Man that steelhide breastplate sounded like it was gonna be bad asss.
It aint even that light.

yeah, Antones' stuff kinda sucks... but Ferros' items are worth it. the vampire chain is way cool, as is the ivory blade. i haven't got the reflection armor yet though, so can't tell on that one

Hmmmmm.....
Reflection armor sounds nice,
Is that like having a permanent eye for an eye or somthing.
Ohh and is the ivory blade one handed or 2
what are the stats if u have them.

Nightowl2 03-04-2002 04:45 PM

The mirror armor works for melee damage the way eye for eye works for spells: damage taken is reflected back to the attacker. But that's only melee damage; doesn't work for spells or ranged attacks.

thats even better
cuz i always cast eye for an eye on a few guys anyway during good battles
who can wear this kind of armor

and how do i find ferro
ive dont everthing i can in the rapax rift but i cant seem to get throught this one door.
i got some sanctuary key but it wont work there.
plus i know i need some fire staff for rafe
whats that thing called
ohh and whats up with thos 3 guys i rescued but they didnt even run and escape.
all they do is say they are gonna die.

The 3 rapax in jail cells don't seem to do anything for the game. Just Rafe where you get EPs. You don't actually go through that door in question. You kind of go around it. Try the next hall to the left.

By the way. By the time I finally made it to Ferro to get his good equipment, I was very near the end of the game. Only got to use the special mades up on the Peak. He needs to move his shop to a more public area like Antonne. You've got to be at high levels just to reach him. By then, his goodies are only minor improvements.

yah what a bad business man

Thats why anotone's got all the big bucks

I haven't tried it but I read a post by a person saying that they had gone into Rapax Castle at around level 11. Given that random monsters in the game are somewhat adjusted to your level it seems at least possible that a well designed level 11 party could make it to Ferro (they might be level 12 or 13 by the time they got to him!).
