Hi, have done monastery arnika cemetary with dungeon, trynton, swamp part1, mines, martens bluff and back to trynton with idol. Wondering what to do next, go to Baijin (read somewhere that it was a very difficult area) or do some T-rang quests? Party is leve 11'ish I think. Any advices, no spoilers just general advices [img]smile.gif[/img]

After I got the idol, I started doing the Umpani quests. Good place to go ASAP so you can get access to their Humpawhammer teleporter which puts you right outside Arnika, but more than that, in that building is a Dulcimer of Mending which is a great instrument if you have a Bard.

Doesn't have a bard i current party, didn't find place for him as I wanted a gadgeteer. I'll try the Umpani. But who to side with. Umpani or T'Rang? Well I'll play my cards right and try to be the united nations of Dominus [img]smile.gif[/img]

Do the quests for both sides. Just stay away from He'Li and you should be all right. She finds out about your being a double agent, and while some have paid her off, they got found out anyway.

Once I'm working for the two, I never even set foot in her tavern, and I've never beem caught playing both sides.

(ok im a little frustrated that the umpani want to kick my ass, there is about a hundred of them walking around overthere at gigas.Please excuse the obscene comments but u know He'li is a dirty slut anyway.)

Well, Kunar finds out, too, and he may rat on you. Though I've never had any trouble with him, even in games where I didn't rat on him first ;)

Then again, I get what I need from him (mainly spellbooks and flak jackets) as soon as possible, and then I stay away from there, too. My last visit is to pick up the "store credit".

Kunar is the shopkeeper in the Umpani Base Camp just north of the Northern Wilderness.

Same quandry came over my party after about the same sequence as the thread starter ("Gothmog") went through. We have one Diamond Eye mace, and like it. The idea of a fine sword with the name "Fang" sounded almost too cool to resist. My guys, all level 11 except RFS-81, I think, were standing outside the Temple door with bits of dead Siges scattered around, before taking a break and running a search on this forum.

I still haven't seen anyone come back to confirm the existence of any second Diamond Eye, in that other thread. But rather than spin my wheels getting the party killed over and over, we retreated, and will collect an Umpani flag for the T'Rang, and the various quests each offers, back and forth, until we are strong enough to collect "Fang".

I did the quest for both sides and i payed HeLi the money she wants and i never get into any problems with T`Rang or Umpani and i talked and buyed many thing from her no probs.
