So here I am wandering around Arnika, killing stuff, finding stuff, etc. when I happen upon a hologram of a Mook. He speaks and the next thing I know my Ranger says he has to go for awhile. For how long? I have a save game I can go back to before speaking to the hologram if need be, but what is going on here?

He's just taking a tour of the Mook Establishment in Arnika, he comes back as soon as you camp... just camp and exit and he'll come back... with some bonus experience

Ah, thanks. I was afraid it was like Planescape when my companion suddenly got kidnapped and I did not see him until quite sometime later.
