Okay, so I had Tantris in my party and of course when I got to the Umpani base camp he didn't want to go, so I dismissed him. After doing a couple things in the camp I headed back to the mines, eagerly awaiting the return of my arachnid companion. Only one problem, when I got there he wasn't waiting for me. I have been told that he returns the the T'Rang outpost in the mines when dismissed, but now I can't find him anywhere. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

that is odd! i dismissed him several times and he was always at the mine in his lil' batcave where i found him originally.

Hmmmmm...disappointing. I've just checked the Northern Wilderness on the off chance that he may be there, and, of course, he wasn't. Going to check Arnika now. Maybe he was thirsty and went to He'Li's, I doubt it but its worth a shot. If he's not there I guess I'll have to write to Sirtech. At any rate I will post the final result.

I've never been able to find Tantris again after dismissing him. The robot remains wherever you drop him off, and Myles returns to Arnika's entrance, but Tantris--he becomes just a distant memory. ;)

I had this problem too. I recruited Tantris, then dismissed him (just to see what his various stats were). Visiting the cave at a later date, he'd packed up his bags and gone home dejectedly.

I lost him too. I didn't focus on him any way. I just stripped him and released him from his dutty :D But after I left and came back to the mine he was gone. Never to see back.... It's possibily a small bug from the last patch.

Heh, I had to release Tantris for a bit to grab an item from another NPC and lo and behold, he disappeared from the Mines as well. Good thing I took my beter gear back from him. >(
