My party (~lvl 15) has arrived at the Rapax Away Camp, but I haven’t become a Templar yet. Anyway I plan rescuing Rodan + Drazic by force, because I want to keep them as RPC's, and want to get them ASAP.
I’m not sure about the consequences though, so here are some questions: - Will it still be possible to become a Templar, if I attacked them at the camp? - If not, how can I get access to the Ascension Peak Teleporter? - Will Ferro turn hostile? Thanks in advance! |
Well, the one thing I know for sure is that Ferro will not turn hostile, he'll even fight with you against other Rapax during hostilities.
About your other questions, haven't tried that path, but I strongly suspect you can still become a templar even after wasting the camp. |
Well, neither of them is any great prize. I was just glad to finish up the alliance stuff and drop them off so I could get RFS-81 back in the party. You may feel differently, of course.
Dunno if you can get into the good graces of the Templars again if you get the prisoners early. Initially, the templars are neutral, but wrecking the camp turns them hostile. I don't know of any way offhand to bring the rating back up to neutral. And they have to be at least neutral for you to join up. I'd suggest becoming a templar before the rescue to avoid a lot of problems and extra fights.
Nightowl2
|
Unless you want to make things a lot harder for yourself, I wouldn't go about it that way. The Rapax are hot enough when you haven't antagonized them.
Neither one of the prisoners is any great shakes as an NPC, anyway. The only one that's worth anything is the metal man. |
