I've got the words from the book but for the life of me I cannot
find the idol in marten's bluff. Also in lower marten's bluff
there is a door with a combination on it, does anyone know how to open
that door.

You must go up to Martens bluff "Use the stair`s up to the house with the ghost`s there is a "lever" there who open the locked door in Martens Bluff inside ther is the "Idol"

The combination door is the nuber to push is: 7-4-0

From the circular room (mines side entry), take the corridor north, then the first left passage. This ends in a stairway going up to an isolated section of the castle. Past the arrow trap is the room with the lever that opens the way to the idol.
