I just got back into the wizardry world when I saw wiz8.
Can I import characters from wizards and warriors into
wizardry 8? If so what will happen to them?

Unfortunately you can't import characters from Wizards & Warriors, as it is actually an entirely different game by a different company than Wizardry 8. If you played through Wizardry 7 you could, though.

But that's not a problem; once you get the hang of it, creating a new party in Wizardry 8 is practically an entire game in and of itself. (yeah, I've spent too much time in the character creation menu)
