Hi. I've already completed Marten's Bluff and accepted Z'Ants quest to steal an Umpani flag. Though I'm aligned with the T'rang, I want to service the Umpani. Can I join the Umpani and still get Z'Ant's flag? How would I get the flag without fighting Umpani and should I try to join the Umpani before I get the flag? Thanks.

That is no problem at all !!! Once you are in the umpani base camp you will see.....

You buy the flag from Sgt. Kunar in the commisary. You don't even need to be Umpani-aligned for that. I usually purchase the flag on my way to sign up. And yes, it is very worthwhile doing the quests for both sides. At least up to the last ones ;)
