Hi (yet another newbeee question), got Bloodlust from the bank, gave it to Myles for him to berserk with, thing is I don't think he is berserking, at least he doesn't get the berserk symbol (three direction arrows thingie), isn't he supposed to get that? Does he need som skillz in sword to berserk? If I remember correctly my Lord who had it in another game got the berserk symbol and really kicked some monster butt (~50 hp damage at least pr hit) Myles does ~ 10.

And what is the berserk abbility, more damage? factor of 2x? will it increase and so on?

I dont think that "Myles" can do berserk! he is a "Rogue"(tief) and he is wery good later on with some xp on his back then he "backstab" then he do dobble damage!

And what is the berserk abbility, more damage? factor of 2x?
Yes this feature dobble the damage i think! maby more afteward to!

I thought that the nice thing with "Bloodlust" was that non-fighter types could berserk with it

Thats what I thought as well...
In my last game, I had Myles using two Poison Daggers and was doing 10~20 damage per dagger for a whopping 20~40 damage. and he can do this twice per turn.

In my current game, I gave Myles Bloodlust, and yes, he was doing not better than the 1st Myles.

What is the better weapon to a Samurai other than the Enhanced Katana? Samurai's damage is so pathetic only his 3~4 attacks was making the difference.. Seems like I should give Bloodlust to my Samurai... wonder if Samurai CAN make good use of this weapon... My Samurai was #1 killer when we were below level 8... now at level 10, everybody is catching up on the kills department... Samurai is becoming a 3rd rate member of the party.

PS. we just arrived at the swamp.

Any character can 'bersek' with Bloodlust - that is the bonus ability of this sword. But, your character will have to have some sword skill to wield it properly - it is a sword, after all.

My Samurai currently wields Bloodlust and an enchanted wazurki (sp?) and deals anywhere from 10-40 damage per hit. Of course, she usually hits 2-5 times per attack, with 2-3 attacks per round My melee king, however, is my Dracon fighter wielding Excaliber - can you say damage in the 100's? Per hit. With 2 swings per attack. And two or more attacks per round :D

Life is good. (plus he's level 20)

Myles has an asswhooping total of zero skillpoints in sword. Maybe he should start pratice and we'll see if it improves.

I have Myles using Bloodlust in my current game, and he is kicking a$$. He's doing more damage than anyone else in my party, including my berserking fighter. Myles is getting two swings of Bloodlust at an average of 35 points each, plus another 25 or so from his dagger. And I haven't even gone beyond Arnika yet. Pump up that sword skill! It should make all the difference.

When you have BLOODLUST on, it will bez by itself. It's not something you pick (the three arrow thing) - whoever has it equipped will do it with "normal attacks."
