So I went playing in the retro dungeon outside the cemetary for a bit, and finally quit because it wasn't that much fun. Does anyone know if there's actually a 'point' to them? Perhaps something special/secret thats hidden somewhere? All I've found is a maze with near worthless treasure and easily defeatable enemies. Anything I'm missing?

The retro dungeons are easter eggs for old time gamers. They're there for nostalgia; if you're looking for a dragon and his treasure I think you'll be disappointed.

Ya, I'm all about Easter Eggs and Nostalga, but I wish it did have a point, or some benefit though...

The only retro dungeon worth doing is the one in the mountain wilderness. After a very tough fight at the end, you get the great Amulet of Nebdar, and a few other goodies. I did all the dungeons one time; since then, just the one in the mountains.

I did the retro dungeon in the wilderness and got some good stuff, but it seemed to be just a few rooms. Is there a secret passage to a full dungeon hiding in there and, if so, what's the trick? I tried clicking on the altars to get stuff.
