i have the key of serenity as i have spoken to the shaman but how do i open the door to get the chest. where do i click or whatever.
please help. maybe i have a bug or whatever as i have tried everything. Also when i installed the patch i seem to be getting wrong messages and jumbled up words. help anyone?

There's a locked house in the Ratkin Trees level that can be unlocked with the Key of Serenity.

Once inside the house, pay attention to something on the floor.

Try re-installing the patch again and make sure it overwrites all of the necessary files -- the first time I tried to install the patches, half of the files were write-protected and I had to turn that off before the patch successfully installed.

There is another room directly above the room with the chest. Use the Key of Serenity to get into that room. Once inside that room, kill any Rattkin that cross your path and inspect the panel on the floor. Once you move the panel, step into the hole to get to the room below.
