The way to the cosmic portal is blocked - apparently it didn't clear when I placed the artifacts (and yes I've looked at the map - I'm stuck at the "Y," not the "T").

All three were properally placed yet the way remains blocked.

Any ideas? (I've revisited the temples BTW - and yes I can see the two yellow dots).

A bug? User stupidity? Am I missing something?

Help!

p.s. I've searched every forum including sirtech technical support.

You placed all three artifacts, the statues out in the front area all have their active mode going, and you have made your way up the right-hand fork of the Life/Trynnie path and into the building at the end and the way is still blocked?

Hmmm...I know that you can get that far without disabling the bomb but I had no problems getting into that building once I'd placed the three items.

I cannot get by the first bend - it's obvious the path should continuye on - I see all kinds of stuff beyond using x-ray.

Look, the way to the cosmic circle didn't open - I can see that by looking at the map.

I wonder if you havnt gone far enough? The only reason is that I was wandering around forever last night and came to the area I thought for sure was the path and the way was blocked. I finally kept going N-NE I think and ended up in area that did not show as a path on the auto map (just the green party circle in an area of black) and thats where I found the entrance.

I should have taken a screen shot as I thought the auto map seemed odd.

No way - one way goes to the cave to a temple and the other dead ends (though it's obvious that it shouldn't according to what x-ray is showing).

I've explored very, very, very thoroughly and clearly an area that was suppose to open up has not.

Check out the map at the location above and see if you are looking in the right area. I didn't take the fork to the right in the Life/Trynnie path until after I'd used all three artifacts so I'm not sure exactly how far up you can go not having placed them. But since you've placed them, you should be able to get up to the point marked "Portal".

I'm having the exact same problem...I've put all three items into thier respective places, and I'm standing at the east part of that T fork.......and there's just a big mountian there, no through way. :( Is there anything else you have to do? I've disarmed the bomb. The only thing I can think of, is the major battle in the first open clearing, I snuck past. Is it a trigger perhaps?

You and Paul are the only ones I've seen on any of the forums who seem to have this problem. I don't know what could be causing the problem. Hmmm...maybe you could zip up your savegame and send a link to it to me in private mail and let me take a look? I might be able to offer some suggestions if I could actually see what you are seeing.
