I'm in Marten's Tomb ATM, but he tells me I need something called a Serenity Helm before he'll talk to me. How on Earth did I miss this?

Requesting a spoiler for the location of the Serenity Helm, please.

I've checked all over and I can't find the info on any sites (at least not ones that I don't have to spend an hour perusing). Does anyone have that link to that site with all the items listed and thier locations? Or can anyone simply tell me where the Helm is found?

Just as I'd thought, I've visited him already and I was given the helmet. It's nowhere in my inventory though, so I can only assume I had it equiped on on of my recruits when they left as I walked into the sea caves. Looks like I've found a bug, and probably a game stopper as there aren't any item editors that I know of...

When recruits leave your party, all of their items are put into your inventory...to have the helm disappear would definitely be a game stopper.
You did get into the room in the Rattkin Tree whose only entrance is through a hole in the ceiling and got the helm out of the chest?
