Just wondering is Wiz8 as buggy as Wiz&Warriors(just completed it and waiting of Wiz8 to arrive) and is the patch recommended.

By no means. And Sir-Tech has already released a couple of useful bugfixes for the few bugs that have been found. I'm not saying it's technically perfect, mind you, but it's nowhere near the buggy wreck that W&W was.

I haven't found it to be buggy at all; in fact, on my Win 2k system it has never crashed once, which I find to be veryyyyy pleasing :D Of course, the patches that have been released have been to fix bugs and crashes, so obviously they have happened to some people.

The only thing I can complain about is that at times, the whole game will pause to up to 45 seconds, which can be somewhat jarring when you're immersed in a fantasy adventure! It happens when I load certain area maps, but more often it just happens randomly, sometimes in combat. It always recovers, though. Before the latest patch, it also used to very occasionally "stutter" - someone would cast Magic Missile at me and I'd have to listen to the ZAP! play over and over for 15 seconds - but that seems to have gone away now [img]smile.gif[/img]
