Is there any way of swapping the location of the character portraits on the main screen? My imported party from Wiz 7 have come thru to Wiz 8 in a rather jumbled fashion, with the spellslingers in the top positions and the fighters at the bottom !!

I know I can adjust the party formation as I wish but I'd like the portrait order to reflect the formation as well.

the only way i found to do it is at party creation. wait until you have them all made to pick them. they go up in this order, so you gotta pick them accordingly:

.|1|.~~~~~~~~.|2|.
.|3|.~~~~~~~~.|4|.
.|5|.~~~~~~~~.|6|.

i had gotten the idea in a post from linda currie back when we were all demo'ing like crazy, so it was at the front of my mind when i made my full game party. it's not much control, because you can't change the order later on, but it's something.

actually, i made a special save, and then tried to kick out everybody and re-pick them. but of course, they were just weenies at first level. maybe if there was some way to use current.sav, but all that is waaaaaaay beyond me.
