Has anyone killed the Don instead of buying the astral dominea from him? I was outraged by the price, and killed him instead. I got a lot of experience, tons of cool items, plus saved myself 80k from having to buy it from him.
It was too easy. What's the catch?

I've already been attacked after leaving Arnika by a group of his thugs (easily dispatched, however), but I have concerns about what might happen later in the game.

Just wondering.

well... i read from other forums.. it's ok he is dead.. but if u killed him and he didn't drop the cane corpus.. then that's it.. i don't think u can get another one from elsewhere... well of course the cane is useless if u don't have a fairie ninja..

i didn't have a fairie ninja, but i pickpocketed from him.. it's worth abt 80k...
