Is there a quick list of what Antone will make for customer armor? (I had already left him behind without finding out he makes custom armor - but will be heading back to him, cuz I like to try and do everything) - anyway, if ya ask him about "custom armor" will he give ya a list of stuff?

With the exception of the Zynaryx plate, none of those are really worth having.

The Steelhide Armor, for instance, isn't much better than regular Plate Mail (U), except that a gadgeteer can wear it.

The Beastslayer is an Axe...'Nuff said.

Ebon Staff is nice for a spellcaster, but really, those guys shouldn't be meleeing enough to make a difference.

Honestly, by the time you have collected all the stuff to make them, you should already have better equipment.

I have to admit, though, that I still made them all (including the Zynarax, even though I don't have a fairy!!) just because I like to complete EVERYTHING in the game.

Actually, the only time I melee with my casters (which is nice to have those super extended staffs, LOL!), is when I am in an easy fight, and blowing off mana or potions would be a waste; but there's enough where I am actually surrounded. Sure they whap for a stunning 5pts of damage or so; but my priest (a faerie) does that "Sleep/Paralyze" hit with her little faerie stick.

What professions can where the Zynaryx plate? Can a bishop? How
about a Ninja?

i believe ANY profession can wear it. the only restriction is race. it MUST be a faerie.

the plate is lousy... i am not kidding... *VERY* likely the only char can wear it is ur fairie mage/bishop.. if u choose that...

u can't have the fairie monk or ninja to wear it... i personally see no point in it.. my elf bishop never wear any good armor.. have a measly 44 hp and i am now in umpani.. :D
ps: only fairie race can wear it.. and monk or ninja profession cannot wear it

actually... none of the items listed above is good... i just bought th steelhide armor.. just in case...

what makes it lousy?

my faerie mage has the same clothes she was born in, so i don't think it can get much lousier than that. i mean, between her and my monk, they might as well be nakey, cuz they have a combined AC of 11.

i'm getting better ac by doling out the bucks on rings and amulets.

but, i have been really looking forward to putting something new on my mage forever. gah. (just like a bunch of blondes. we're only concerned with our looks! lol)

My poor faerie is still in her beginning clothes also and she's level 15... I wouldn't mind throwing something on her. It's gotta be better than the beginning clothes, and lordy knows, nothing on the blasted planet is sized for faeries... so I can't see how it'd be "worthless"

When you ask him about custom armor, entries are made into your journal for the required ingredients...just so you and others know you don't have to memorize or write down the list.
