Hi. I was wondering how 2nd weapon worked. Do you have to have a weapon that says 2nd weapon? Or can you equip 2 longswords. I won't be posting much since I don't have the game yet but when I get it, I'm sure I'll be here often. Thanks.

afaik, it has to say that it can be used as secondary.

however, if you have any doubts, you can equip it then look in the small weapon window in the upper right. it shows primary and secondary weapon attributes. if no secondary attributes show up, you can pretty much guess that weapon is useless in that slot!

Correct. You cannot equip two long swords. You use things such as a dagger, Main Gauche, Poinard, and so forth as a secondary weapon.
