Hi, Wonderfull game, loved wiz 7, been waiting for Wiz 8 a long time, and it was worth it.

I have level 12 characters, how/when do you gain access to the Expert skills, such as Powerstrike and Powercast? Is there an attribute combination, or do you have to complete quests to gain these abilities, are they class specific or level specific?

My characters are:
Level 12 Samurai, felpuur, since I switched the Demonsword from Monestery, to the Bloodlust (still dual wield with Waashi) tri and qud hits for over 100 damage! every time, compared to 7-14 damage and one swing.
Level 12 fighter, lizardman
Level 12 Ranger, Mook
Level 12 Ninja, Hobbit
Level 12 Priest, Rawrulf
Level 12 Mage, Farie

You have to get to 100 in one of your attributes.

SPOILER:

100 in strength: Power Strike
100 in Wisdom : Iron Will
100 in Dexterity: Reflextion
100 in Speed: Snakespeed
100 in Intelligence: Powercast
100 in Vitality: Iron Skin
100 in Senses: Eagle Eye

Thanks, that is the info I needed. I have to say, compared to other games and forum sites, this one really rocks. Cudos to the Wiz8 support team/members for their great postings/replies. It really makes a difference!

Are the Expert skills passive or are they pumpable? Do you have to put points into them, or are they just there?

Expert skills are pumpable. You can add points to them at level up, and they go up on their own as well.
