Anyone noticed a particular difference in the rate different character races level? I just started a new, all-human party, and they seem to be doing much better at the outset than my previous, mixed-race one. Or is it just my imagination hard at work?

Well....humans are right down the middle of the road on starting stats, so none of their stats will be very low (none will be very high either, but you can add points where needed). That may make a difference overall, especially at the beginning.

I have a mixed party and have had no trouble with them. I may play an all-human party eventually (but I do love the "furries"!)

Cheers,

Piety affects how often your characters learn from using their skills. Since many races have a reduced Piety from the Human norm, this means they will learn skills at a slower rate.

Hope this helps

Piety does that? Humm... interesting. I wonder if a party of Rawulfs would do even better then? Might be an interesting experiment.
