I think Analander is playing in Ironman mode, but not as a solo character (can you say "death wish"? Sure ya can! :D ) As far as I know, he's the only one here who's playing Ironman.

He can probably tell you more about the experience than I can. Although, I must say, with as infrequently as I've been saving lately, I might as well be playing Ironman! [img]graemlins/uhoh1.gif[/img] (follow your own RULE, Sazerac!!!)

I do play at "Expert" mode, which is why it's taking me a bit longer to get through the game. Talk about leveling up quickly, though!

I stopped temporarily because of a nasty, NASTY screwup. For some reason, when I killed Brekek nothing dropped, and when I then decided "screw it, kill Crock", nothing happened either.

I don't like playing without my Bard for the rest of the game, especially on Ironman mode. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

As an after thought, when you see Wind Sprites...RUN.

I hate losing 4 of my party members before I can even go.

Scary stuff. I am playing on regular setting but taking no NPC's into my mix (I am an xp hog) and was having a rough time of it until I re-started with a different party. If these guys do well, I may try the Iron Man mode myself. Thanks
