Hello everyone,

I've noticed recently that most people are paying attention to putting a spoiler alert in the subject of their posts if they are presenting information that newer players may not have discovered yet.

However, I've been noticing that some people are not doing this, and one player commented that there should have been a spoiler on a message that they had read.

While the format for listing spoilers has not been 100% set in stone, let me remind you all of the basic policy.

1. Put a mention of a spoiler (either you are listing or requesting one) in the subject of your post.

2. You can also put it before the message text, some people have mentioned this is an annoyance, however the moderators have not agreed one way or the other. Sazerac is our senior mod, so I feel he should make the final decision on this.

3. In general, please be courteous of others when sharing your tips. People come here to share and learn hints and tricks, however sometimes these "hints" can be for a large part of the game that can ruin a gamers playing experience. However, it is also the players responsibility to be aware of spoilers in any message, whether or not people are following these policies.

So, remember that some people toss out big hints in the game on occasion, so read them at your discretion. But please folks, keep the following in mind:

*This IS NOT a place to brag on how you "kicked the games ass" real fast or how powerful your characters are since you play 10 hours a day or use a hex editor. There are plenty of other forums around (even some for spoilers) where you can do this. I'll admit its fun to share a picture of your Fighter destroying some annoying enemy with a powerful hit, as I love to do this myself. But presenting your triumphs like the game is some kind of a contest is not the reason we asked for this forum.

*This IS a place to meet other gamers and have *FUN*. Share your funny pictures and stories. Laugh about how a group of Rapax cut up your level 9 party like mincemeat pie. Help contribute to the Dominus Digest, for where else can you find a forum for a game with its own newspaper?

Again, if you have any questions on this, please just email me or one of the other mods. Especially if something is bothering you, please don't vent on the board. Let's keep this place flame free.

Best regards,

Scronan

Well said, Scronan!!! BRAVO!!! A mod after me own heart!

Nothing I can add here, other than please do watch the "spoilies." There's a difference between answering a direct question for help and giving away a huge plot twist. I have seen a couple of these posted here that border on that, and, for the "benefit of the doubt" I have remained silent. Any more than that, though, and I will start speaking out.

Cheers,
-Sazerac
