Hi i'm a newbie to wizardry viii, but i think the game is really cool though. Can anyone tell me if there's second effect for stealing? In arnika, i stole everybody until they didn't had anything left, is there some kind of reputation or something like that which can be affected if you steal too much? tx a lot

I don't think rep matters in this game like it does in BG2 or Might and Magic, so steal away! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've stolen stuff right behind or even in front of npc's they don't care!

Try pickpocketing and you have a larger problem... I usually have to give an npc something reasonably valuable to get them to talk to me again. I'm just a klepto... I need help (My parties rich by the way...) ^^

One of my favorite game events:

In Trynton in the Don's room, I opened his chest, setting off a guardian trap (oops). So a Greater Earth Elemental pops out, and the Don and Milano are nice enough to help me kill the Elemental that was guarding THEIR LOOT.

Another good one is if you cast terror on the Bank Guards, some will run outside. Follow them outside and the "police" (HLL) will help you take them out.

I like this kind of logic. "I am good, so no matter what I do, it is good. Anyone who is against me is bad even if they are 'good'." While it will not happen, it would be funny to get a bank guard to attack a bank guard. On the other hand, perhaps with the right effort, I could get Don Barlone to help me kill the breeders.
