I know, I know, there are many locked doors. The one that is causing me trouble is in the upper monestary near the -no magic- room. I have heard that I have to open this dooe to get to the bells to break the glass etc. etc. but do not seem to have the key that opens this door.

Where is this key?

Go to the other side of the Monastery, where you see the big statue of Phoonzang. There is a ramp going up near there. Take that ramp up the stairs to a room with a glass wall. There's a chest in that room; in the chest is a key that you will need.
