The latest word from EB is that Wiz 8 will be available for sale in Australia on December 8 ( and not before !! )

May a curse of noxious boils be laid upon all those vermin who delayed the release .... May their chooks turn into swallowers and smash their dunnies down, as well !!!

Davros, my friend - please feel free to add other curses in our quaint Okker idiom ..

it ain't fair! nope, just ain't fair! i feel your pain and am very sad for you.

well, y'know i'm in the us but still am Wizardry-less, too. it has been on order since the first week in october, but they can't tell me a thing about it.

i added a second order for it (from ebgames) last week and it's going to take a few days at least, because they have been getting odd lots of it in with the same going right back out again. they say, most likely by week's end... but the holidays will mess with that, too.

i do believe that by the time i get it, it will be in your hands, also.

oh yeah! there is one other option for me. if my game doesn't arrive before turkey day, the bf will most likely kill me!! he's holding off playing and won't even mention the name "wizardry" until i get my copy.
with the upcoming extra long weekend, that's a lot of playing time he will be missing out on. i've tried sidetracking him with armada 2 and empire earth, but i don't think thats working. ::thinks about her big mouth, always going on and on and on about no wizardry for her::

Aaaaaaarrrrrggghhh! If it's delayed in Australia it's probably going to be delayed here in Europe as well! ***c***xa***ed! Maybe Metallic Slimes devour their favorite slippers and their physical appearance change to be like that of a Swallower! Raaaaaaargh!

I don't blame you a bit, Davros. My offer still stands, BTW, but probably by the time we get funds transferred and I ship a copy to you, it'd be in the Australian stores by then. But it's your call, man.

To all our Aussie friends: I'm so very sorry. :( Just keep hanging in there a bit longer. Maybe something will come through beforehand. They've been known to be wrong before.

I don't mind them being wrong, but having the Australian release date change every 24 hours is seeing my personal stress levels hit a new all time high ...

Latest news from EB is now a December 14 release. ( I suspect their stocking computer is using random date generator rather than any factual date :-( )

Every day I ring a different EB for an update, and do the stores in rotation so no individual store gets fed up with me asking ...
