First of all, when you get an item or armor, there is a question mark next to cursed. How do you know if an item is cursed? I know it's probably something simple, but help me out here. Also, I put a helmet on one of my characters and the item is cursed and now I can't remove it. Anything I can do here, besides reload? Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was cursed and it was way way back probably when I equipped my character. HELP PLEASE!!!

You cast identify to learn more about the item.

Sometimes even that won't tell you if it is cursed, but there is a spell that you can learn (eventually) which will allow a character to remove cursed items.

have any of you played Throne of Darkness?

they have this really great feature, that made me think, "Woah!! why hasn't this been done before?"

you can take your cursed items to a priest and he blesses them. they become usable, with characteristics totally different from the cursed ones.

it was one of the greatest things and such a simple idea, too.
