After 7 failed attempts, and then a successful 15 hour plus marathon download at an average of only 2.7 Kbs, I've got the demo.

That *~^grrr#$%^ demo has cost me more to get the the full game will !!

Cost of upgrading ISP contract to get more online hours: $70
Cost of taking wife out to dinner as "payment" for spending Saturday at home: $40
Cost of final download cutting out for 2 minutes with less than 2 meg remaining: At least 10 grey hairs, a howl of anguish, and six claw marks on my leg for scaring the cat on my lap while she was dozing ..

Thank Meeclar it was all worth it ... Now, all I want is the full game. With luck, it should be be released in Australia at the end of the week.

Have you had any positve news from your local EB Pangur ole pal - my store is still pretty vague :( .

Not so cool Princess - November 23 at local EB just became Dec 15 anywhere GRRRRRRRR!!!!!! - no way that I am going to buy from local EB when their smegging parent company is to blame.

I have learned my lesson - don't listen to the optimistic crap that you get fed about local release dates. Just send Saz the money prior to US release, and get one stuck in the mail straight away. Thanks for the offer Saz, and very sorry I didn't take it. When it comes time for Morrowind to hit the shelves you can be damn sure this lesson will have sunk in.

I am still mired in the queue for EB mail order - some rumours that stock is in short supply. Just goes to show how stupid and short sighted some games producers are in not having snapped up this game and released it months ago. The clerk at the local EB store says that all the interest over the phone is centred on Wiz 8 - and they can't get any.

OK, my rant is petering out to a whine now - time to end with a smile and a wink ;) .
