I know that many people will be playing the game and learning lots of new stuff very soon. My brother told me he would buy Wiz 8 for me for a Christmas gift. I don't think I am gonna make it that long. Despite having a 28.8 connection, I downloaded the demo the same day I heard about it. I thought I showed considerable restraint in not going down to the local cable/phone company and strangling them for not having broadband in my complex. I actually managed to wait for about 8 hours from the time I heard about the demo to the time I started downloading it overnight. I am not gonna make it till Christmas.

Anyway, back to the subject. I was testing some new stuff and decided to try the X-Ray spell. It is AWESOME!!!! :D Not only do objects and monsters show up on your radar even if they are behind walls or doors, but the monsters show up on your map as well! When a new monster spawns, I just look on the map to figure out where it is and plan a route to get there. The bad points to the spell are that items do not show up on your map, but they do show up on radar. I am not sure about hidden items because I think I got all of them before I got the spell. And you cannot really tell what kind of monster is there until you actually see them. (I charged after a group of monsters that turned out to be vile roaches. :( ) Even with its "bad" points it is still a cool spell.

Gotta be the level 7 FIREBALL...nothing like it to clean out a room full of baddies.
