I read about the same thing on the USENET group comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.rpg. There is a rumor, however, that Sir-Tech is putting up the Wizardry Series for sale to 3rd-party developers. Let's hope someone good may buy it.

I'll see if I can find the article and post it here.

Where on Sir-Tech's homepage does it say anything about Wizardry 8 being their last product? I can't find it.
