I assume you mean the original Wizardry VII, not Wizardry Gold (the later has a complete walkthrough with maps for entire game on-disc). If you have WizGold, simply search through the CD-Rom to find the walkthrough & maps. If you have the original W7-CoDS, follow this link to a list of walkthroughs/faqs/etc.

Hope this helps, good luck, and enjoy this great game!

By cheats, do you mean a character editor/trainer, or a walkthrough?

I have a link to a great trainer if that's what you're looking for, or if you are looking for a walkthrough, follow Greystone's link above. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Before all; thanks for your help. I mean Editor/trainer. What I mean is that it has to be a cheat to get health and money, otherwise you can`t buy enything and have to keep reloading the game because your enemies kill you too easily.
Thanks

Galic: The filename is called W7EDIT.ZIP. After downloading it, unzip it into the directory that your game is in (probably C:\DSAVANT). To run it, you need to be at a MS-DOS prompt. At the command prompt, type in:

W7EDIT gamename character

where gamename is the name of your saved game you wish to edit and character is one of your characters' names.

Here is the link for downloading the file:
http://www.gamers.org/pub/games/uwp-...ors/w7edit.zip

and if that link doesn't work, try this one:
http://www.filelibrary.com:8080/cgi-.../86/w7edit.zip

Hope this helps!

I don't have anything against cheating (via character editors etc) and often do it for fun after beating a game for the first time. However, there is a better method in Wiz7...

Make sure that you have a thief character in your party when you start the game. In the first city you come to, there are several merchants (I don't recall the names right off--been WAY too long since I last played through) that you can steal from. Start with the one with the basic gear, as he is the easiest to get items from. With successful steals, your skill in stealing goes up (awesome design at work here!) and you will be able to get more items & eventually expensive items from the magic shop & black market. In this manner, you increase both your thief's skills and you equip your party with nice gear for free. Obviously, this will require quitting/reloading whenever you are caught, which can be time-consuming, but it is a good way to get started in the game (if you have the patience for it).

Good Luck, and enjoy this excellent game!!!

If you go the way Greystoke suggested, I'd recommend stealing from the Innkeeper to start off with. He's by far the easiest one (take a look at the surroundings, how could he keep track of ANYTHING?). Later, build yourself up to stealing from Arms of Argus, Belcanzor's, and Paluke's (when you've got the skill way up). Make sure you don't make an enemy of Paluke, though, as he's got the best prices for you to sell your found goods as well. I traded with him all the way through to the endgame.
