In a perfect world I'd have all the time I wanted to spend making DC mods and art, but alas- blah blah blah. :D :D
The following is a list of ideas that I've thought about/worked on at some point:

Star Wars
Have=> I've got a huge library of images from the movies and so have any small pics and big pics I'd ever need. There are some walls available at the FRUA archive. I've done half a dozen icons.
Don't Have=>wilds, sprites, icons, backdrops, default art (camp, treasure, etc.), sounds, overlands, good story idea that isn't just a rip-off of something that's already been done.

X-men/Spiderman
Have=> I've got a huge library of images from various media, so as above, small pics and big pics are taken care of. There are a couple of modern walls available online, and a couple that I've done for my mini-mod (set in the Marvel Universe, but not involving the X-men or Spiderman), I've done some good icons of various Marvel heroes, but haven't done all of the X-men.
Don't Have=>wilds, overlands, enough walls, backdrops, sprites, sounds, default art, way to do certain things in DC- yet, good story idea.

W.I.L.D.Cats
Have=> I don't have a big library of images, but enough that I'd probably be okay for a medium or smaller sized mod's worth of small pics and big pics. I have done two icons. I do have a good story idea...if I can just find where I wrote it down.
Don't Have=>wilds, walls, sprites, backdrops, default art, sounds, icons, default art, overlands.

Dragonball Z
Have=> I've got a huge library of images from various media, small pics and big pics are covered. I have several sprites and could easily do any more that I needed. I have done icons of all major and most minor characters (not the ones that were up on my site a long time ago, but new and better ones), I've got plenty of appropriate walls and backgrounds. I'm good for sounds. I have default art and fx art that's appropriate. I can easily make the wilds I need. I even have a decent story. Hmmm...
Don't Have=> overlands. capability in DC to do a couple of things- yet.

Lord of the Rings
Have=> overlands! (this is the only one ;) ), some images that could be used as small pics and/or big pics, a couple of different story ideas.
Don't Have=>small pics, big pics, icons, sprites, walls, backgrounds, default art, sounds, wilds.

:D Feel free to comment, or add your ideas to the list. :D

Other than Dragonball Z (which I really don't like) I'd love to see any of those ideas turned into mods. I think Star Wars and Lord of the Rigns especially would look really good. I might try some icons for those actually, if I get time, they would be interesting to do I think.

For myself I'd like to do a Lovecraft style horror game. Very creepy old houses and tombs with strange, horrific monsters. I was actually thinking about making some icons for this as well, like paranormal investigators as the PCs and some really ghoulish monsters.

A Lovecraftian story would be awesome. There is a really good icon of a starspawn in the FRUA archive that could be made over. I think I'll make some icons for this. I've been looking for a new theme...

Well, I had a go and created a male and female occult expert for a possible Cthulhu campaign. You can find them on my site.

I also added some Lizardmen and Orcs.

Oh, and where can I find that Starspawn icon Manikus?

There are lots of great ideas in all of the FRUA newsletters. You should check them out if you haven't already.

I just checked out the occult expert icons- very nice. I think they use excellent colors and have some nice accessories.

That starspawn is pretty cool. I'll have to have a go at some cthulhu style monsters at some point, though I'll have to think about them a bit more before I have a go.

I'm glad you liked the occult expert icons. I wasn't sure about the umberella as a weapon, but I think it looks original .

Well, if the world was a perfect place, yadda, more time... (believe me, I feel that manikus!!!); I'd make a few types of my own. Examples:

police/detective action mod(s) with just people and/or real life situations

as above, but with a sci-fi and cult feel (like X-files)

after the holocaust; kinda a mix between teenage muntant ninja turtles and the oldschool cartoon "Thundar the barbarian"

And I LOVE the books from HP Lovecraft, so who knows.

Sadly, I have like NO TIME right now... :(

I was working on something along these lines a long time ago. It was a political thriller set in Manhattan, Washington DC and Philadelphia. I have maps for each of the three cities (on paper) and there are tons of great public domain photos for each of these places. My problem, and why it got put onto the burner farthest in the back, was the scope- 6 100x100 levels make up Manhattan at street level (though I also made a smaller version that is 70x100). Do you know how long it would take to process 60,000 squares (with backgrounds, walls, events, etc.)? Me neither. :D

There are mods for both of these settings done for FRUA. And Autery did some excellent icons of the TMNT's. Maybe a good starting place, you know, some day.

We should all just do what we can on this topic, an idea here, a picture there, until someone has the time to run with it, or perhaps even someones...
