In the unseeing eye quest, I finally get both pieces of the rod and the big guy NEVER SHOWS UP! I've been looking everywhere for him--he's supposed to attack right when you pick it up!

Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else?

After you pick up the second part of the rod and they are joined, a message pops up telling you to load the item in one of your quick slots? As soon as I loaded the rod in the quick slot the bad guy showed up, and you use the rod on him and then have to finish him off yourself.

Thanks but I actually did load it into my quick slot right away. He never came! Maybe I'll go kill all the followers and see what happens ;o)

I'm having this problem, too, in one of my games (didn't in the other).. and although it's a relief to see that someone else has had the problem before me, it would've been even better to see the solution. Anyone?

<font color="gold">When you combine both parts, it pops up some message. Read it, and put the device in your quick slot. Then, just wait a few secs, before you leave the 'room'. Then he should appear. ;)

I had this problem in a previous game, and my last solution was to use CLUAConsole to get the Unseeing Eye into existance again. You can find the codes for that somewhere on here(I can't remember them), if you decide for that.

and if you wanna show off use the shield of Balduran and beat him down with a weapon, you get to return the rift device without ever using it, or better yet, use it on one of the priests of the unseeing eye

I'm lost. I finished (or think I finished) the Unseeing Eye Quest but don't remember any rod... I must have missed something?

<font color="gold">You must have chosen the easy way, to just go down there and kill the Unseeing Eye and his minions.

But there is a longer version, where you first say you'll work for Gaal, and then betray him, etc. ;) </font>
