Something I just noticed with the new release...My characters (multi-classed) are no longer getting experience after battles. XP from give experience events still work, but not a point gets assigned after a battle.

I'm just wondering if other have noticed this yet and if this is a bug or not? At least it is not something that will impede creation of a design.

I was also wondering if there is a formal bug tracking process for this project? I know sourceforge has it's own mechanisms, but are they used (should they be?). I also wanted to know what other forums are out there for DC. I know Manikus mentioned there is a Yahoo list, but I have lost that information. Should we be considering consolidating all DC discussions to one place?

Well, enough questions for now. Back to work! :D

i don't know about this bug, turns out that i almost never use multi-class characters to test my stuff, but i can answer some of the rest.
the only formal bug tracking process is through sourceforge, but cocoaspud watches this board and the yahoo list.
right now the only discussion forums are here and the list at yahoo. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/UAForever/join
i think these two places give us what we need- something immediate, and something sent out to everybody (on the list).

I forgot to mention that this worked before the latest update for me. There was nothing in the UAFEng_err.txt file too that would indicate any problem during the combat sequences.

I didn't get a chance to investigate this for the recent release of DC. Sorry about that. When I run tests of new features I rarely use multiclass characters, so this sort of thing can easily slip by me.

I plan to collect all reported bugs and fix them for the next release. I'll be concentrating on bugs rather than adding new spells since the bug list is getting rather long.

The DC mailing list is the fastest way to get a response from me (or private email using hotmail account). I don't get to this forum as often as I should and to be honest I feel bad about it.

I've just done a fresh install and "none" of the classes [not just multi-class] are getting xp from combat.

I just now found this problem and fixed it. The patch will be in the next release, which should happen in about a week if all goes well.

Well, I didn't quite get things ready for release during this last weekend, but I'll keep at it and perhaps this weekend it will be ready.
