specialty mages and specialty clerics can add a lot to an adventure. figuring a way to implement this is another matter. something that lord killjoy was working on before he skidaddled was doing pics of specialty priests that would be accompanied by my doing icons of said priests.
i've put off doing anything b/c i didn't have a way to do the pics, but now i've got another source. of the gods of faerun, what specialty priests would people like to see done? what about specialty mages? (honestly, i have know idea how one would look different from another, except maybe for necromancers :D ) -manikus |
I've been fiddling with the classes, and was wondering if it's possible to create more classes of spellcaster (for example, something extra in addition to cleric and mage spells). I realise you can't make extra classes at this stage but could you replace one of the other classes with another spellcasting class?
Also, is it possible to make classes/races that NPCs can be but which players cannot select when creating PCs? (ie so when you view an NPC you see their true class and race (eg I think Dragonbait was a saurian paladin - but in Curse of the Azure Bonds when you viewed his character sheet it just said "monster"). One more thing, when I've changed the class ability scores modifiers, etc., some of the scores no longer change on "reroll" at character creation. DEX, WIS, CON are stuck at 3 for one class and at 7 for another. I wonder if anyone has any suggestions what I may have done wrong here. Can't wait for a class and race editor within the DC interface. Sorry this post really was off the topic. [ 01-17-2003, 06:53 AM: Message edited by: Steve McDonald ] |
