Hi everyone,
After a long time away from my computer an dungeoncraft, I finally had a chance to get back at things more interesting than counting grains of sand in afghanistan. Immediately I installed the new version of Dungeoncraft on my new computer... ...and encountered an old problem: The Dungeoncraft-Editor won't change resolutions even after replacing the config.txt manually. It won't respond to using the DC-Editor and it won't respond to a manual change. Actually it doesn't respond to any input concerning the size of the editor. Now, Cocoaspud sent me this nifty little programm to solve this problem, but that was on my old computer and I lost it... Is it possible to get this programm again or is there a solution for my problem? Can anyone help me? Concerning the system: I am using an Athlon 1700XP processor with 512 MBs of Ram and 60 Gigs of free harddisk space. I am running a Windows 2000 system with the newest updates. One thing that is not standard is, that my programms are not stored on the same drive as my system. The system is on drive "C" and the programms are on drive "F". Could this be the reason for my problems? Thanks for any help, Joerg Weber |
I replied to his post on the mailing list already, but just in case it helps someone else...
The link to the program is http://uaf.sourceforge.net/bin/DCConfig.zip This tool will attempt to reconfigure the editor/engine to operate in a higher res than the standard 640x480. The editor uses a registry setting, and the engine uses the settings in the config.txt file. This tool should take care of making sure the settings in both places are in sync. |
