Hello there,
I just had a look at the various messages in this forum, and, so far, it more or less all seem to be related to DC. Not that I got anything against it, just that I was hoping ppl would exchange opinion about RPG in general. Like what idea to "keep" from some old RPGs, like Dungeon Master, Drakkhen or even Phantasy 3 (whoever remembers this one on Atari ST ?). Spell casting in Dungeon Master was very handy (IMHO) for example. Anyway, tell me I there's a more appropriate forum for these type of talkings. Thanks, Sylvain |
well my understanding was that dc was going to try to remain as faithful as possible to ua
it is basically just updated to support the better graphics available on todays systems im not sure that the topics you are talking about would have a reason to get posted about in here now i could be wrong about all of this however this is the impression i got about what this program is and will be |
here's my two cents.
dc was started as an update of ua. (that's dungeon craft and unlimited adventures, respectively.) it was an update of ua's graphics capability and of the events capability. with that being said, i know richard is always open to ideas. i think that's why so many of us have come on board. ;) i, personally read every post on this board and like hearing about other people's experiences with rpgs, especially if this can be tied into dungeon craft. the broader base we can all draw from, the better. now, if you want an extended discussion of the virtues of character creation in a particular rpg other than dungeon craft, there are always the generic boards here at ironworks. like, i said, just my two cents worth.
